Rick Stephan Genest, or "Zombie Boy", was a Canadian model and performance artist.

At the age of 15 he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which he successfully defeated through surgery.

At the age of 16 he got his first tattoo, a skull.

Influenced by the brain tumor, he decided at the age of 19 to tattoo his entire body with the motif of a corpse.

In March 2010, the art designer and stylist for Lady Gaga, Nicola Formichetti, became aware of Rick Genest through photos on the social media platform Facebook. In 2011 Genest finally played in the video shoot for Lady Gaga's Born This Way

In the same year, Genest was recognized twice in the Guinness Book of Records as a record holder for his 176 insect and 139 bone tattoos.
